Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can you focus on my child so I can send it to colleges?
Yes we can focus on one player so you can send to college coaches.  Most of the time it is not needed though.  We can shoot the game as we normally do and you can get good game footage.  We have spoken with several college coaches and they love the video we provide.  Several coaches have commented that they dread getting video from parents on the sideline because of the poor quality.

2. Do strong winds affect the quality of a video recording?
No. We have videotaped numerous games where wind speeds topped out at 20 to 30 mph and the Hi-Pod performs great. The Hi-Pod is stable, plus there is also an optical stabilizer in the professional cameras we use which is better than the standard digital stabilizer in consumer camcorders. Occasionally, the Hi-Pod sways in the wind but the picture quality remains unaffected.

3. How do you control the camera from the bottom of the Hi-Pod?
We have total control over the camera at the base of the Hi-Pod. There is a 7 inch LCD screen that we watch all of the action from. We zoom in and out with a variable speed remote control switch and turn the camera left, right, up and down by turning and rotating the handle at the base.

4. How long does DVD and BluRay production take?
Typically, there is a one week turn around time. However, for some tournaments it can take up to 4 weeks due to heavy production schedules.

5. How much does it cost to have my game videotaped?
It depends on the sport, and length of game. Check the pricing page for each sport from the Product menu.
